Description
奶奶的针线 on one half, 孙儿的行囊 on the other — or grandfather’s wording if that is your family: tell us who the two halves are for and we propose the characters before writing anything. The halves are cut with the swallowtail notch so they fit only each other, and the split seal is stamped while the paper is still one sheet. A companion card holds a voice note in dialect where a family recording exists; nothing is invented, and no “standard pronunciation” is fabricated where none was recorded. 12 × 24 cm per half, brushed by one hand in one sitting.
