Description
Your own sentence, or a classical line that is out of copyright, split across two 12 × 24 cm halves and cut with the same swallowtail notch. One half lives in each city; the pairing code on the locked screen is what joins them the next time you are in the same room. Tap the companion card for the voice note left at the time of writing — a kitchen, a platform, a midnight bus, whatever you chose to keep. Both halves are written by one hand in one sitting so they share one ink; the cut is made after the ink dries, never before, and the two halves travel in separate rigid sleeves so neither arrives creased.
